Ascent to snow capped Coropuna Arequipa Peru 3 - 4 days / 2 - 3 nights
 
Overview

This is the highest mountain in the south of Peru, a permanent glacier situated in the province of Arequipa.

It’s 8 hours from Arequipa City till the Pallarcocha lake 4800m, from which we go directly to the snow-capped Coropuna, doing camping in an altitude of 5200m. The next day, to the top we walk 5 hours approximately (not technical). This mountain requires 3 days because it’s big.
