You will be collected from your hotel at 6.30 am to head towards the port and then to travel by boat for 25 minutes to the floating island (uros).  You will visit the floating island of uros for approximately one hour; you can appreciate the style of life, you also have the option to take a ride by raft made of totora (the reeds).

Then we travel by boat to amantani island where we will arrive at 1:00 p.m. at the local port.

After disembarking we will walk to the house the local inhabitants. (45 min.)

The accommodation will be in family houses where they will also share lunch. in the evening we will walk around amantani visiting the pachatata and pacha mama temples. Then we will have dinner in the family houses and spend the night.

After breakfast we will head towards taquile island by boat, where we will walk for about an hour, seeing the island and appreciating their famous textiles and typical clothes. finally we will return the city of puno arriving at approximately 5:30 pm. then you will be transferred to your hotel.

remarks:

• Taquile island is from 3800 to 4000 meters high, to arrive at the top, you will walk on a sloping path (there aren’t many steps). the guide will adapt his walking rhythm to that of the clients and so you can walk as slow as you need to.
  
• If normally you are not used to eating local meal please buy in puno city, fruits or sandwiches to eat.
  
• It rains in the afternoons between the months of december until march, and so it is important to bring a waterproof jacket for the rain.
